Valve(s): pv, Gear: Helical Sleeve.
Enclosed crankcase, 75 BHP at 650 rpm, crankshaft driven 7:1 reduction air and feed pumps, wheelhouse control, 60 sqft inboard surface condenser, engine driven circulating pump.
BOILERYarrow type 3-drum WT.
Built 1971 by John Ashton at Wallingford.
Fuel: wood, Pressure: 160 psi, Heating Area: 183 sqft, Output: 2000 lbs/hr.
PROP3 blades, 28" x 36".
HISTORYNew on Windermere for Sir W. B. Forwood. Originally fitted with 6" + 6" x 6" Plenty engine. 1897 fitted 61/2" + 10" x 7" Sisson, converted motor c1925. 1969 to John Ashton, completely rebuilt with forward saloon, wheelhouse and new machinery. Acquired 1988 restored to near original appearance 1989.
