On 4 turned columns, Kcond, Xhead driven fp, 400 rpm, 1½ IHP.
BOILERBlackstaffe type 3-drum WT.
Built 1997 by David Beale at Doncaster.
Fuel: coal, Pressure: 125 psi, Grate: 98 sqins, Heating Area: 15½ sqft.
Steam drum 6½" od x 18" long, mud drums 2½" od, 12 x ½" od copper WT coils. Economiser coil 16' x 5/16" od copper tube, radiant superheater.
PROP3 blades, bronze, 14" x 20".
Shaft: ¾" SS.
HISTORYBuilt new to owners requirements, fitted out by builders, plant fitted by owner, first steamed 1983. Steamed each year since. (1983-6 fitted with owner built 5A now in BITTERLING). (Boiler Ref: S.B.& M.S.L. Nov/Dec 1963 and Funnel 101)
