Carvel 1½" larch on 3" oak frames
Fore and aft cabins, tiller steering.
ENGINESingle, 12½" x 16".
Built 1962 by John Kincaid & Co. Ltd. at Greenock.
Return connecting rod, crank throw 7½", 70 rpm, reduction gear to paddle shafts.
BOILERWagon type.
Built 1962 by Rankin & Blackmore Ltd. at Greenock.
Pressure: 7 psi.
Externally fired. Funnel 12" dia x 25' also acts as mast for square sail. natural draught.

HISTORYBuilt as a replica of Henry Bell’s COMET of 1812. Launched 1962; now on display ashore at Port Glasgow Town Centre.
