Plumb stem, wineglass transom. Wheel steering. Short canvas canopy. White topsides, yellow painted decks, varnished trim.
"Tela" class Edwardian daysailer, based on the lines of a Pilot Cutter's boat.
ENGINESingle, 2½" x 2½".
Built 2001 by Bob Shearer at Wallingford.

Double-acting, on four turned columns
BOILERLune Valley type 2-drum WT.
Built 1992 by Roger Cadogan.
Fuel: parafin, Pressure: 150 psi, Heating Area: 7½ sqft.
Steel drums 6" od, 20" long. 17 copper tubes, .7/8" od SS funnel, economiser
PROP5 blades, fabricated SS, 16" x 22½".
Shaft: 1" SS shaft with ball-bearing thrust plate and two auto-type CV joints.
HISTORYOriginally fitted out 1994 by David Ayers and called Rockabill. Currently being rebuilt by present owner. Hull bought without engine or boiler by current owners in December 2001 and renamed Firedance.
