On 6 turned columns, chain driven fp, inboard surface cond., Hayward Tyler duplex circulating pump, 2" x 2" alternator and fan engine.
BOILERLocomotive type.
Built 1980 by David Curwen and Peter Lewis Engineering at Devizes.
Fuel: coal, Pressure: 130 psi, Heating Area: 92 sqft, Output: 400 lbs/hr.
No.137092, side fired, 48 x .7/8" id tubes. Wkettle. Designed by David Curwen.
PROP3 blades, 20" x 40".
HISTORYBuilt as motor passenger launch for River Dee. Registered ON 137092. Later at Bath, 1929 to T.W. Hitchins, Bristol, 1945 George Head, Keynsham, 1958 S.J. Groves, Evesham, all used for tripping. Acquired in very derelict condition 1974, fully restored and steam plant fitted by owner during 18 year project.
