Transom stern, white, aft saloon in iroko, galley, WC, blue canopy forward, wheel steering.
ENGINESingle, 4¼" x 4".
Built 1971 by Dr Patrick Ireland.
Valve(s): sv, Gear: SLRG.
On turned columns, non-condensing
BOILERHWT.
Built 1946 by Merryweather & Co. at Greenwich.
Fuel: anthracite, Pressure: 120 psi.
‘B’ size, No.9603, vertical shell, 16" dia x 46" high. 1996 inside rebuilt by Roger Lees, Macclesfield. (Ref: Funnel 95).
PROP3 blades, 18" x 30".
Shaft: EN45 steel.
HISTORYHull built, fitted out and plant installed by owner, first steamed July 1980. Named after GWR ‘Saint’ class locomotive.Ref: Funnel 25. (formerly in owners 45' steel narrow boat TARRAGON).
