Straight stem, counter stern, white, varnished oak and pine deck and interior, brass trim, tiller steering.

Design: David King.
Gear: SLRG, Pumps: Puffing, fp driven by push rod from Xhead, hand fp, injector, bilge ejector..
Modified in 1995 and 2004.
BOILER2-drum WT.
Built 2004 by Century Millwrights.
Fuel: coal, Pressure: 100 psi, Grate: 100 sqin, Heating Area: 12 sqft.
Completely new pressure vessel fitted in 2004 within the original steel casing.
½ cwt bunker.
PROP3 blades, 14" x 20".
Shaft: ¾" SS.
HISTORYThe original ‘Frolic’ hull, built, fitted out and plant installed by R. Latham, named FROLIC. First steamed May 1981. Sept 1981 acquired by John A. Pearce, Nottingham and renamed. Acquired July 1988, Steamed each year since.
Now registered under a ‘flag of convenience’ in Monrovia (Liberia) but operating in the UK on the Fens.
