Black with lilac and green upperworks.
ENGINEDiagonal Triple, 1½" + 1½" + 1½" x 2¼ ".
Built 1982 by Peter Shott.
Valve(s): sv, Gear: SLRG.
Chain drive 1.8:1, crank driven air and fp, keel c.
BOILERBriggs Locomotive type.
Built 1983 by Peter Shott.
Fuel: coal.
Dry firebox, 9½" dia barrel, 28 x .5/8" copper tubes.
PROPPaddles, 6 floats each, curved, feathering, 2' 6" dia., 9" x 6".
HISTORYMachinery built as a 7¼" gauge Shay locomotive, removed from wheels and frames when used in launch. Hull designed by owner to fit garage roof space. First steamed Sept 1990.
