Straight stem, transom stern, light brown, varnished deck, 2 seats, tiller steering, 4 mph. 1 cwt coal bunker.
ENGINESingle, 2¼" x 2".
Built 1974 by Peter Devrell at Bath.
Design: Stuart Turner, 5A.
Gear: Slip ecc., Pumps: Injector, hand fp, donkey pump, ecc driven fp, fwh, blower, two whistles, non-condensing, funnel exhaust (puffer)..
Cast A-frame. Slip eccentric reverse added in 1984.
BOILERVFT.
Built 1983 by J.Goold at Camerton.
Fuel: coal, Pressure: 80 psi.
14" dia x 22" high, 19 x 1" dia tubes.
PROP3 blades, 10½" x 14½".
Shaft: 5/8" bronze shaft at 15 degrees with universal joint..
HISTORYFormer motor dinghy hull acquired in Feb 1974 by Peter Devrell. Plant installed and first steamed 22 Dec 1974 by Peter Devrell. Known as SONOR.
(1974-1982, fitted with 1963 built VFT boiler)
Acquired 16 Apr 2005 by Patrice Livet. Hull painted, hand feed pump fitted. Donkey pump fitted. Canopy fitted. Deck varnished. New whistle fitted. All by new owner. Steamed each year since 1974.
