| ENGINE | Single, 2¼" x 2". Built 1965 by Peter Robinson at Kentmere, Cumbria. Design: Stuart Turner, 5A. Valve(s): sv, Gear: SLRG. Cast A frames, Kcond, ecc driven fp, about 400 rpm, 1½ IHP. |
| BOILER | Illingworth type WT. Built 1968 by Peter Robinson. Fuel: paraffin. V centre drum 5" dia x 24" long, casing 18" dia x 30" high, modified Lune Valley type burner. |
| PROP | 3 blades, 16" x 20". Shaft: 1" SS. |
| HISTORY | New launch built, fitted out and steam plant fitted by owners. First steamed Oct 1989. Engine & boiler formerly in JAMIE 1969-1978 and MORVEN 1978-1980, then test engine for G.L. Jones’ new hulls to 1988.
Not used 2003-2005 while engine rebuilt. |
