Straight stem, transom stern, black with gold line, varnished teak and mahogany decks, mahogany transom and interior, 10 seats, wheel steering.
ENGINECompound, 2½" + 5" x 4".
Built c1890 by A.G. Mumford Ltd. at Colchester.
Valve(s): sv, Gear: SLRG.
Turned fc, cast bronze bs, Xhead driven feed and air pumps, 450 rpm, 4½ IHP, Kcond.
BOILERV shell, cross WT.
Built 1946 by Merryweather & Co. at Greenwich.
Fuel: paraffin, Pressure: 120 psi.
‘B’ size, No.9544, 16" dia x 38" high, hand fp, Penberthy injector, fw heater, Lune Valley type burner, 25 gall fuel tank, bilge ejector.
PROP3 blades, nickel aluminium bronze, RH, 18" x 30".
Shaft: 13/8" SS.
HISTORYNew as motor boat to E.M.Corbett, Lowestoft, deceased 1955, left to R. Norfolk & Suffolk Yacht Club. Later owned on Broads and Medway. Acquired 1971, restored and plant fitted by owners 1983. First steamed 24 Oct 1983, and steamed each year since. Engine ex KITTEN CAT. Registered ON 162971
