On 6 turned columns, Xhead driven fp and air pump, 400 rpm, 6 IHP, Kcond.
BOILERWT.
Built 1990 by Richard Burleigh.
Fuel: wood, Pressure: 150 psi, Grate: 2.2 sqft, Heating Area: 47 sqft.
Upper section 82 firetubes x 1.3"OD x 22" long. Lower WT section has 2 circular headers 2.3/8" dia x 20" long joined by 40 vertical tubes forming a ‘cage’ around the fire. Casing 24" dia x 46" high, Wkettle.
PROP3 blades, 18" x 30".
Shaft: 1¼" bronze.
HISTORYNew boat built over a 23 year period, owner wonders if this is a record? Steam plant installed by owner. First steamed Dec 1996. Approx miles steamed; 1996 - 50; 1997 - 160; 1998 - 90; 1999 - 50.
