Built 1909 by Fellows, Morton & Clayton Ltd. at Saltley, Birmingham.
LOA: 71' 6", LWL: 70', Beam: 7', Draft: 3' 2".
Riveted wrought iron sides, elm bottom
Counter stern, black, aft cabin, two berths, tiller. (Ref. FUNNEL 20).
ENGINESingle, 7" x 9".
Built 1950s by W. Sisson & Co. Ltd..
Valve(s): sv, Gear: SLRG.
cbs and 1 angled tfc. Develops 12/14 hp at 150rpm and 150psi. Built as a training engine for the Merchant Navy College.
BOILERRT Scotch.
Built 1990 by N.E.I. International Combustion at Annan.
Fuel: coal, Pressure: 100 psi, Grate: 7½ sqft, Heating Area: 287 sqft, Output: 110 lbs/hr.
Dryback, 4' 8" dia x 6' 4" long, 76 x 2" tubes, duplex fp Worthington-Simpson 973745 of 1927.
PROP3 blades.
Shaft: 2¼" steel.
HISTORYBuilt for FMC’s own fleet. Originally had tandem comp. engine. Converted with Bolinder motor 1925. 1973 derelict. Restored by M.E.Braine, Walsall; present plant 1977; acquired ’82. On display at Dudley. 1992 steamed 1006 miles during 92 days. Steamed regularly around canal system. Ref: Classic Boat, April 1992
Previously fitted with 4½" + 4½" x 6" twin with sv and SLRG. Cast hammer frames, bored trunk guides, non-cond. 100 rpm (FUNNEL 14)
