Straight stem, transom stern, fully decked forward of engine, canvas canopy, wheel steering.
ENGINETandem Compound, 2¼" + 3¾" x 3".

Valve(s): pv, Gear: SLRG, Pumps: Engine driven fp, hand fp, injector, Kcond, Edwards ap, Wkettle, bilge ejector.
Former circulating pump engine, modified to compound by Ken Slater and C.F. Parsons, 1957. On 4 turned columns. ecc driven fp, 3 IHP, 180 rpm, Kcond.
BOILERBabcock type WT.
Built 2001 by Mack Scott.
Fuel: paraffin, Pressure: 150 psi, Heating Area: 17 sqft, Output: 200 lbs/hr.
1 drum with 2 box headers, copper tubes. Previously fitted with Lune Valley type VWT, fitted 1967.
PROP3 blades, 18" x 30".
Shaft: 1¼" bronze.
HISTORYHull acquired, restored and plant fitted by Ken Slater, Shaldon 1957. 1968 owned by J.A. Crabtree. Acquired June 1975 by H.Graham Powell, cabin removed and re-designed as open cutter 1987 on River Avon at Bredon. Steamed each year since 1975, total c. 6000 miles.
Fate: Discontinued 2007. Plant transferred to new SL PUFFIN
