Clinker African mahogony on oak. Iroko keel and garboards. Varnished oak transom and stem

ENGINETandem Compound, 2¼" + 3¾" x 3".
Built by A.G. Mumford Ltd..
Valve(s): pv, Gear: SLRG, Pumps: Ecc driven fp, hand fp, injector, Kcond, Edwards ap, Wkettle, bilge ejector.
On 4 turned columns. 3 IHP, 180 rpm.
Former circulating pump engine, modified to compound by Ken Slater and C.F. Parsons, 1957.
Rebuilt by Sam Wilkinson 2001.
BOILERBabcock type WT.
Built 2001 by Mack Scott.
Fuel: paraffin, Pressure: 150 psi, Heating Area: 17 sqft, Output: 200 lbs/hr.
1 drum with 2 box headers, copper tubes.
PROP3 blades, 18" x 30".
Shaft: 11/8" SS.
HISTORYMachinery transferred from old SL PUFFIN to new hull by owners. Relaunched at Beale Park Wooden Boat Show 2007.
