Straight stem, counter stern, aft saloon, varnished, forward canopy, wheel steering.

Built 1990 by Classic Steam Ltd. at Storrington.
Fuel: coal, Pressure: 170 psi, Grate: 3 sqft.
No.2 type, 30" dia × 30" high, 110 x ¾" id tubes, 2 cwt bunkers, injector, fwh, hotwell, bilge ejector, Wkettle. Fitted in 1991.
PROP3 blades, 21" x 40".
Shaft: 1¼" bronze.
HISTORYBuilt as steam day launch with aft cabin 1901. Owned by Marie Tempest and named after her stage show "San Toy". Converted to Petrol/Paraffin motor 1911 when owned Mr Chapman, Nottingham, later fitted with replacement fore and aft cabins and a centre cockpit. Owned by Major Rissock in 1960’s who fitted a Ford petrol engine.
Acquired by owner in 1972. Major restoration involving re-ribbing hull, fitting a new aft saloon, and new steam plant; installed all by owner. First steamed 1978. Ref: Funnel 20, steamed every year since.
Previously fitted with Merryweather ‘B’ size 1978-1989.
