Fuel: solid fuel - smokeless.
All welded, 7½ tons bunkers, Worthington donkey pump.
PROP4 blades.
HISTORYBuilt for Loch Katrine Steamboat Co. Ltd. Launched 31st Oct. 1899. (Ref. ‘Ships Monthly’, Aug 1979). Hull plans in Denny Collection at National Maritime Museum. In service May to Sept. (for booking, phone 01877-376316).
2004, A trust made up from the park authority and local councils is being set up to take over this ship. Scottish Water, who took over from Glasgow Water Dept. has been told to divest themselves of any non-water provision activities.
