LOA: 21', LWL: 20', Beam: 5' 6", Draft: 1' 9", Displacement: 1¼ tonnes. Strip plank, red cedar. Keel and coaming in iroko. Deck teak. Blue hull, varnished trim. Wheel hydraulic steering, full length canvas canopy with side screens. Seats 6. |
| ENGINE | Compound, 2½" + 5" x 3". Built 1998 by Philip Newman at Abernethy. Design: Gordon Cheap, Savery style. Valve(s): pv, Gear: Joy Radial, Pumps: Ram fp and ‘Strickland’ type ap, both off Xheads. Lifting injector (1gpm). Kcond (5sqft). Cylinder block and valve blocks cast as one. Fully built crankshaft. 7 IHP at 650 rpm (normally run at 400 rpm). |
| BOILER | 3-drum WT. Built 1994 by Anthony Bever at Swindon. Fuel: coal, Pressure: 150 psi, Grate: 1¼ sqft, Heating Area: 28 sqft, Output: 250-300 lbs/hr. No.33. All steel. 8" steam drum, 2" mud drums. 28 x ½" tubes. Recently rebuilt bottom casing with louvre side vents and stainless steel wet ashpan. |
| PROP | 3 blades, turbine type, maganese bronze, 18" x 24". Shaft: 1¼" SS. |
| HISTORY | Built and fitted out by owner 1993-98. Steamed every year since on Scottish Lochs and Winderemere (total 500 hrs).
