Valve(s): sv, Gear: Hackworth Radial.
CI channel frame, overhung disc crank, engine driven fp, 250-300 rpm, ¾ IHP. Built from scratch using many ‘salvaged’ parts.
BOILERHRT.
Built 1993 by Kansteel at Brandon.
Fuel: wood, Pressure: 100 psi, Grate: 0.76 sqft, Heating Area: 10.3 sqft.
Designed by owner, welded, shell, 14" dia x 30" long, 18 x 1" od tubes 20" long.
PROP3 blades, 12" x 13".
Shaft: ¾" steel, sprocket and chain drive.
HISTORYBuilt by owner using fishing boat hull acquired 1991 from Frank Roe, Minnedosa, Manitoba. Steam plant fitted and first steamed 1993. Ref: Model Engineer 16th June 1995 and Funnels 97 and 101.
