Pressure: 7 psi,
Externally fired. Funnel 12" dia x 25' also acts as mast for square sail. natural draught.

Engine

Single. 12 1/2" X 16"
Built 1962 by John Kincaid & Co. Ltd. at Greenock
Return connecting rod, crank throw 7½", 70 rpm, reduction gear to paddle shafts.

Propeller

Paddles blades, four,
4 floats on two shafts


History

Built as a replica of Henry Bell’s COMET of 1812. Launched 1962; now on display ashore at Port Glasgow Town Centre.
