Straight stem, counter stern, white, aft saloon, 6 seats, wheel steering, balanced rudder, 6 knots.

Boiler

VFT 101 Designed by David Beale,
Built 2015 by Steamwell Boilers at Chew Stoke
Fuel: Coal, Pressure: 150 psi, Grate area: 1.06 sqft, Heating area: 11.44 sqft, Output: 57 lbs/hr,
18 " dia X 24" high Welded steel shell barrel. 84 X 7/8 " dia Expanded steel tubes. Welded steel ,expanded tubes construction,
condensing, engine driven pump, hand pump, steam feed pump, Windermere kettle, whistle,
Keel condensing system with hotwell. 14 gallon forward mounted water tank.

Engine

Compound. 2" + 3" X 3"

Balanced sv valve. Joy Radial (modified) valve gear.
Eccentric driven water feed and air pumps. Cylinders supported by 3 pillar columns at front and girder frame at rear.

Bronze, 3 blades, Left Hand, 14" X 18"
Shaft: 7/8" Stainless Steel

History

Launch built and fitted out by Robin Wallace-Sims between 1976 & 1978. First steamed February 1978 and steamed every year until 2009. Acquired by present owner in 2011. New boiler in 2015. Complete restoration undertaken.
