2-drum WT Built 1999 by Century Millwrights at Platts Eyot
Fuel: paraffin, Pressure: 120 psi, Grate area: 2.35 sqft, Heating area: 27 sqft,
Steam drum 8" dia, mud drums 6" dia x 26½" long, casing 26" x 26" x 31" high. Originally coal fired but now has Mac Scott / Blackstaff type vaporising burner.

Compound. 2 1/4" + 3 1/2" X 2 1/2"

History

New boat built for owner as a motor launch, used as such until Sept 1998. Conversion to steam completed 25th Sept. 1999. Approx miles steamed 1999 - 30. (Engine formerly in builder’s canoe SPITFIRE, Ref: Funnel 68). Half canopy to be fitted 2005.
