Boiler

Roberts type WT Designed by Leroy Mietzner,
Built 2003 at Hansville, USA.
Fuel: Propane, Pressure: 150 psi, Heating area: 12 sqft,
8" dia X 19" long drum(s). 32 X 1/2" dia stainless steel 1.45 tubes. Welded steel drum and tubes construction,
condensing, engine driven pump, hand pump, feed water heater, Windermere kettle, whistle,
Steams well, ready to go from cold in 5 minutes, makes about 5% more steam than needed for wide open operation.

Engine

Compound. 1 1/2" + 3" X 2 1/2"

D valve valve. Stephenson valve gear.
Engine Serial No.29: Rocker arm driven air and feed pumps. Exhaust water heater, Keel Condenser, 2½ HP at 500 rpm. Built for owner.

History

Built in 1911 as power boat. A previous owner added cabin, fibreglassed hull. Previous owner, Don Thompson (Canada), removed cabin, extended cockpit forward, installed seating and plant and fitted out. Acquired by Bill Larson 2002, purchased by John Hope in 2004.
