Straight stem, canoe stern, varnished and topsides, 2 berth aft saloon, wheel steering, 7½ knots.

Kingdon type VFT Built 1990 at Storrington
Fuel: Coal, Pressure: 200 psi,
No.3 size, Wkettle.

Engine

Twin. 3 1/2" + 3 1/2" X 4"
Built by G.F.G. DesVignes at Chertsey
sv valve. SLRG valve gear.
On 6 turned columns, non-condensing, 550 rpm, 25 IHP, Nickel plated. Fitted 1990.

Propeller

4 blades, 20" X 32"
Shaft: 1 3/8" Stainless Steel

History

Originally built 1930 as a private motor boat for Mr. Ant Weiler, subsequently sold to Mr. Ashworth. Hull acquired by present owner 1977 and steam plant fitted 1979. First steamed SBA Windermere Regatta 1980, fresh machinery 1990. Attended every SBA Windermere Rally since 1980. (Formerly had 4" x 4" single). Formerly had Anthony Bever No.6, 3-drum WT
